![]() However, you should consider this first. It's fine as it is IMO, but things can change as more things get buffed and nerfed. Maybe it should be stronger, but do you really want all mages in pvp to one shot you with trivial spells? Maybe just lower the fp penalty that's my 2 cents. I do this with Azurs to up my cast speed on queen's staff. That way you can offhand it for a theoretically higher scaling staff in the right. I wish it provided a passive effect like mag dmg % up for the right hand stave though instead of just having the highest spell damage scaling. ![]() Good for short pvp encounters too because for some reason alot of people don't want more than 40 vigor. Chug the free fp and magic damage boost physic and dunk a heavy spell like comet azur on the boss for free with 11% extra damage which can stack with scorpion talisman, red feathered branch sword(or full hp attack talisman for safety), and graven talismans. I don't use it myself (not enough somber dragon stones in the game), but it has it's niche this isn't the exploration staff, this is the dunk on bosses staff. Perhaps this is better for PVP, but who wants to slot that many blue flasks and miss out on heals in PVP? Personally I’ll stick with the Carian Scepter in all circumstances. I think 30/10 or 40/20 would be more fair. 50% FP increase for a 9.7% DPS increase doesn’t seem like a good option. That said, I think the scales are tipped too far for this one. I recognize that the higher DPS potential must come at a premium. I appreciate that a straight increase in damage and increase in FP cost to match is not balanced. This is inferior for PVE DPS given the extra chugging required, particularly if the player has a narrow window and misses out on an extra cast due to chugging blue. I can see only one purpose for this staff – crossing the breakpoint between killing an enemy in two casts, and killing an enemy with one cast. Given this is for burst damage, one must question the benefit if one must stop dealing damage to chug blue every two or three casts. Scaling at 80 int: Lusat's Glintstone Staff +10: 413 Carian Royal Scepter +10: 373 That’s a 9.7% (rounded down) increase for a 50% increase in spell cost. Moveset & Videos in Elden Ring for Lusat's Glintstone Staff Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below. NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed.Wearing Lusat's Glintstone Crown will further enhance this small niche of Glintstone sorceries. While Lusat's Staff does not provide any specific advantages for his personal school of spells ( Glintstone Stars, Star Shower, and Stars of Ruin), all of those spells are multi-projectile spells, which, due to the way defenses and absorptions work, will perform better when you maximize damage of individual casts (as opposed to increasing the quantity of spells cast - see Azur's Glintstone Staff). At 80 and 99 INT, the extra scaling grants ~11% more damage over the Carian Regal Scepter. High sorcery scaling, but no bonus to sorcery damage outside of that. ![]() Lusat's Glintstone Staff can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones. This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War nor enchanted with Magic. For maximum dps, obtaining 10 STR is recommended. This weapon can be used without meeting the 10 STR requirement (which does not impact the Sorcery Scaling modifier), however, that does double the amount of stamina used for casting spells and lowers the generation of frostbite on Freezing Mist.If the armament in the other hand has a skill, that skill will be used instead.
